POSTCARDS

I enjoy writing letters and postcards to friends during my down time. Soft melodic ambience, warm coffee, and subtle breeze from a slightly cracked window really sets the mood. I love going out to book stores in Oakland and the Rockridge area to find odd and fantastic postcards. It's something I can always look forward to doing on my days off. Over time, I've accumulated a collection of post cards. I'm just waiting for the perfect time to use them. I also have a box filled with letters, cards, and postcards that I've ever received. It's fun to get an update on a friends life, especially during their writing process because it's very personal and sweet. I try to send post cards to most of my friends. Even the ones who live close by (you know who you are!). I think of it as an opportunity to make someones day.

With all of that said, I've been thinking of doing a series of postcards featuring my work. For the first round I chose a few selected favorites. There's always room for improvement, so I'm happily open to feedback and constructive criticism from my audience. I would also like to know how many of you often send out letters and postcards, or are interested in doing it. I will be dropping a sneak peak on Wednesday and hopefully will have the first series up in the shop by Friday.

till then,
